JIMMY'S PRIVATE LINE.

OOC NOTES
◉ Only characters who have been given access to this line will be able to contact Jimmy, and only Jimmy is able to provide that access.
◉ Along those same lines, Jimmy may rescind access at any given moment.
◉ Video, audio, and text are all possible.
◉ If someone tries to trace the line, Jimmy has checks in place to find out how they did it. Please let us know on Plot Engagement. This may lose your character access to Jimmy.
◉ It is possible to make requests of Jimmy (plot-related), ask questions, or even ask that he gives another character access. We're cool, though Jimmy may not always grant permissions or help out.

Maybe we need to readjust the arrival process entirely then. Wake them up more slowly, give them the primer at the lab and then move then, involve us from the start.
Have you felt the drugs, personally?

[He's too skittish. He can be convinced, but ... well.]
As it is, a scientist rarely does experiments on themselves without cause. So, no. I haven't. But they do work. I can imagine how terrible that is, having been under a similar effect myself.
But there are other risks. Problems. Dangers. And if my team is injured before they get to you, do you think the process will continue so smoothly?

Alright we aren't invited to your secret lab. Can I ask that you stop dropping new arrivals at public places in crowds of natives? We already don't belong here but dropping them off at a crowded music festival or a public memorial is added danger of making it abundantly clear from the start.

But starting in the lab is likely a no go. How many of you would decline the use of the neural implant without seeing why it's necessary? And then I'd have to work with that ... AI ... Cassius was it? To get you all set up. Which would be tricky for the people who do the surgeries. They're very phobic to them.

I meant my Meadowlark team. How many secrets is too many?

I know AI are a tricky subject, I'd prefer he'd be safe than force your team to work with him and bring back more anti-AI sentiment.
Lowering the dosage could work, we've got a decent set up going. If it doesn't we can try something else.

Any other requests? Would you like a bird shirt?

[This reply comes very soon after, as he realizes he can't just let anyone into his home.]

[Jimmy, even if he were, it's not like she'd answer that in the affirmative.]

[He says, after raising his eyebrows at the implication that SHE would hurt him.]

Thanks
I have questions, if you don't mind.
I guess you can also ask me questions
[ that's fair, she guesses ]

And I'm willing to answer anything, of course. I believe I've made that abundantly clear.

What's the swiftlet meant to do? Not the bird

[The reply is not immediate.]
A question for a question. But I need to ask.
