SIGN UPS FOR CRAU RELATIONSHIPS

So, once upon a time, Jimmy was a character pulled from Meadowlark's world into another one against his will. That was a harrowing experience for him, but he met some people along the way.

Are you interested in your character being one of those people? Sign up here!

CHARACTER NAME: Jon Snow
WHAT DOES JIMMY KNOW?: Jon doesn’t give away a *ton* on network posts, though he has talked about his dog (IT’S A WOLF). However, there was also a previous Jon who was younger and around with his sister, so Jimmy probably at least has the basics of “medieval guy, stupid brave, they used to keep putting him in charge of things against his will, family mostly murdered, ice zombies, has a big fuck-off sword that he sometimes totes around in a guitar case” and probably knows some basics about Sansa. It’s also fine for him to know other Jons from jamjars as long as it stays away from the S8 reveal about Jon’s parentage (which is canonically traumatic enough for him that I want to avoid it for as long as I can: it causes him to becomes aggressively withdrawn). He wouldn’t be the only character around ML who knows some version of Jon who I played in some other game!
ANY OTHER REQUESTS?: Jimmy can absolutely have a crush on Jon, assuming they ever interact. I want this. It’ll be great. Jon would not really be into it but would be kind about it and maybe a little flattered.

Of course! Well, on that note, all of that stuff is fine, but there are fewer constraints. To make this easier for you, disregard the details I gave you in the last comment. What someone might typically know about Jon from Generic Jamjar Network Infodump Threads is:

Elevator pitch: Jon is a youngish stressed-out medieval guy with a sad backstory who’s decent at diplomacy and melee combat, and loves the outdoors and his mostly-dead family. Ice zombies are his specific source of stress. He’s humble enough to downplay it, but people around him at home tend to respect/admire him and look to him for leadership. Seems relieved that, in a jamjar setting, the expectations on him are a lot lower. Has a cool wolf.

Specifics:

- Bastard from House Stark who really admires his “father.” Starks are hereditary rulers of the North, subject to the Iron Throne. That history dump (“three hundred years ago, Aegon Targaryen and his sisters used dragons to conquer and unite the Seven Kingdoms, and my ancestor bent the knee to save his people from suffering in a war they couldn’t win” blah blah blah) probably happened, but idk who stayed awake for it.
- Being a bastard is bad because they are stigmatized as untrustworthy in Westeros, and they have no right to inherit anything and poor job prospects.
- Five half-siblings. Only one is still alive, Sansa. Implications that Jon finds Sansa mildly difficult, but wants her to be safe and happy. General “overprotective big brother” vibes.
- Family mostly politically murdered, Sansa “treated cruelly,” father beheaded for treason, Jon low-key hates the Lannisters.
- Former Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch, border guards, criminals and younger sons, giant ice wall. Democratically elected job (“chosen by my brothers”) that’s a huge honor. Jon is usually kind of evasive about why he left (does not usually publicly admit to murder and resurrection).
- King in the North, but definitely doesn’t lead with it because “it doesn’t matter here.” Got job by “fighting enemies of my family” to “prepare for the war to come” and, he thinks, largely because people miss Ned Stark. Very partisan for the North: extend that “overprotective big brother” thing to the entire region.
- Loves his giant pet wolf, raised him from a pup (Jimmy likely has actually seen and potentially petted Ghost if Generic Jamjar allowed for animal companions).
- Wildings are people whose ancestors lived north of the Wall when it was built. Prefer to be called the Free Folk and are anarchic. They have been raiding the North for hundreds of years and are widely hated there. Jon has made peace with the Wildlings to fight their “common enemy.” (Does not mention Ygritte *ever*.)
- Which are White Walkers, wights, and their leader the Night King, but any discussion at all made it clear that these are ice zombies. They don’t need the resources that a normal army needs, and anyone they kill can be added to their ranks. Terrifying, and clearly Jon’s greatest source of stress at home.
- You can use much less of this, of course, but I find that network infodumps for this character usually involve a lot of explanations of the canon’s worldbuilding. To explain the sad backstory you wind up having to explain the Iron Throne a little; to explain the Night’s Watch you have to explain the Wall and the Wildlings, etc. Most other characters probably wouldn’t remember all these details, but they were still probably shared.
